Firstly this question is exactly why people who build history together with intimacy and everyday playful activities as a couple survive with a strong relationship into old age, intimacy in all of the shapes and forms are extremely important in a relationship regardless of age so the question would be…. why doesn’t he want to .. a conversation needed to be had ….encourage him to have his hormones checked men also have difficulty in this area .. if he says no then a hard decision needed to be made ….

Counselling??? I can’t imagine this conversation going anywhere positive. A counsellor could lead and control the big possibility of miscommunication and maybe create even more distance

Mmm it’s a problem after 25 years - we worked on it after I took a trip to 🇦🇺 earlier this year. I ended up emailing everything I felt and that the lack of intimacy was breaking me. It worked! I am so glad I resisted temptation when I met up with my ex. Then I really would have messed up!
