im tired of hearing " lets see how Amy handles it" and its just me asking them nicely once, when they refuse, i just remove them from the task and replace them. nothing rude, I just don't tolerate people flat out refusing to do their part. we are at work, the only thing I judge you by is your work ethic and how you treat your coworkers.

I just want to come to work and do my job. I don’t care about being liked and it’s exhausting to try to navigate workplace dynamics. I’m labeled as “frustrated and difficult” because I’m not fake. It took a lot of therapy to unlearn people pleasing but “thriving” at work relies on that.

High standards = Toxic in our current environment. I am not rude or mean, I just demand performance. And not perfection just well thought out and consistent improvement. I am sure there are toxic environments, but expecting clear concise communication and regular attendance is not that. Come to your reviews with valuable solutions and input. There are no participation award.
