This could have been prevented so many ways. There and many and many safety features parents can put to limited access to the Internet and social media for children. But most parents just hand a child a phone and call it a day. So please if you’re worried your kid will be on that list of names do some research on how to limit Internet access.

I truly hope this is directed to the guardians not keeping the children safe and not online platforms. parents (i am a millennial who became a mom as a teen) i am someone who lived through the 2004-2010 internet as an entering middle and through high-schooler and with a 15 year old whose online now, I know FIRST HAND from being both the delinquent unsupervised teen and the parent of a teen who has supervision and discussions frequently. its the parents fault. it absolutely is.
