I felt the same way…. Until I recently stopped taking my antidepressants………. Idk if it’s just a coincidence but I figured out in a few days after being off of them what I wanna do with my life career wise and my brain is thinking if that makes sense idk how to explain it it’s not intrusive thoughts or racing thoughts I’m just thinking about timings more and being more constructive I realized when I was on them I was almost numb…. My mind was tired that’s how much it jusy woke up… if that makes sense????? It’s like they numbed me… I’m on lexapro and I’m on a dose that not a lot of people are on and when I try to go get them from the pharmacy my insurance and the pharmacy says the dose is too high even. I’m on 3 pills a day of it. People usually take one. MAYBE 2….. I truly believe it’s too high for me. I know I DO have depression and I need them BUT, when I was upped, I was going through something. Which is temporary….. the doctor shouldn’t have upped my dose and instead let me deal with it…. So I am going to try to lower my own dose and see what happens.. if I start feeling numb again, I’m off of them.
