👌My principal is teaching math right now due to a vacancy. You’re doing just as much for your staff’s morale as you are for your students’ successes.

I'm sure you did better than you think you did. At least you're willing to step up and fill the vacancy until you can find the right teacher.

The day I had to do my eval for the uni I went to I had some good tech with the new Smart Boards (2008). It was my Tier 3 eval. Teaching figurative language. The lady walks in for the eval and my computer pulled a blue screen of death. I stared for a second then looked at the kids and said: well, guys, we will be doing this the hard way I guess. Paper and pencil. 😂😂😂 I passed. She said she was impressed that I kept going and didn’t let it scare me. I learned I was good under pressure. 😂

A principal should only teach if necessary. Your in that position but if you weren’t I’d say anything’s by the door go around the school constantly to see what’s going on

As a substitute teacher, my select for regular teachers has grown from what I already had for them. Trying to manage a classroom and present the information can be really tough, especially when Author having to be a disciplinarian, which is something I’m not and I don’t even have to deal with grading and communicating with parents. I’m glad your messages out there for the teachers that have to juggle so much if I was in your area, I would volunteer to sub at your school.
