Mrs. Donna don’t be hard on yourself!! You can’t pour from an empty cup!! You can leave a note book in her room so who ever comes can write in it that they came and maybe a little of what they talked about! It gives the next person something to talk to her about!!

God love her! She don’t wanna open anything in that box Ms.Donna! Shes been reading that pack of cookies: it says “if you buy 2 packs, you can win 1million dollars” she said I don’t know what to do about that!! I said well, it looks like Donna only got us one pack, so she may need to get us another pack! Ha ha 😁

You’ve got to let yourself enjoy your life. Your mom is being taken care of and she doesn’t realize you’ve been gone remember that. My husband mother always was happy to see us and never realized we hadn’t seen her in months because we live in a different state and even her own daughters (all 3 of them rotated every 3 days) who visited every day she just didn’t realize who came on what day. It’s the way dementia works it so sad it hurts my heart for you praying for you and your family.

Please take care of yourself. I had shared with you a couple months ago about the recent loss of my parents both with different health issues but my mom did have dementia...I know how hard it is taking care of both but know God will give you the strength you need. I can be working and just cry as I work (medical auditing) bc it seems like the charts are my brother (passed 2023) or my parents health...just breathe and take one day at a time is all we can do...love and prayers 🙏 ❤️
