🔧 QUICK RELEASE CLUTCH FITTING This fitting is technically universal. If your clutch hydraulic setup has a -3 female connection, it can be used there. But the main reason we’re showing it is for the guys already using one of our cable to hydraulic conversions. For me, the value isn’t that removing a slave cylinder is impossible. It’s that when I need the transmission out, I want the clutch hydraulics to be one less thing I have to deal with. On a front wheel drive Honda, the slave cylinder can be buried between the radiator, fan, turbo, downpipe, and everything else already packed into the engine bay. From the top, you’re often working by feel. From underneath, access isn’t necessarily much better. And once the slave is unbolted, the hydraulic system is still pressurized. The pushrod can come out, fluid can be lost, and now you may have to bleed the clutch before the car goes back together. With the quick release, disconnect the line, remove the slave, and the hydraulic system stays closed and ready to use. That becomes especially useful when you’re servicing the car at the track and getting it apart and back together quickly actually matters. It may not matter how often you need to remove it. Sometimes it matters when you need to remove it. If you already have one of our Hush Performance cable to hydro conversions and want to add the quick release, this fitting can be added to the clutch line setup. 🔩 Universal fitting 💧 For -3 female clutch hydraulic connections 🔧 Works as an upgrade to Hush cable to hydro conversions 🏁 Keeps the hydraulic system closed during disconnect One less job when the transmission has to come out.
