I don't this is accurate because I have a cat that does this he will bite me but not hard and then he'll rub his head against me wanting more pets, and if I don't like continue petting him he will like bite again. but he still bites whatever I do pet him. but as I said, not hard and his tail does wag up. and also, if I stop again, he will just use his paw to paw me as he tries to reach out to me and then he'll rub against me.
