my understanding is this news is misleading because the short report doesn't tell you if hedge funds have already exited the short, still in the short, and when they actually opened it. it just tells you the amount of hedge funds that opened a short from x time. which we don't even know when.

Institutions are desperate to get their hands on all the AI stock they can. With very good reason its a new age. it's everything. They need some sort of pull back/crash, so retail investors sell. Hence it frees up stock and at a cheaper price. But knowone seems to be budging.

Summary: for every token created, someone has to lose money in the supply chain or the customer has to pay more per token than what value the token can produce in real world. Unsustainable as is let alone considering over 3 trillion in debt these companies have and all the pre-existing cash they've invested.
