I was the hairstylist teacher in preschool 😂 I always messaged the parents before and gave extra supplies to them. I still cry remembering the little girl who came in and kept her hair in for about 9/10 months and looked horrible like her scalp just looked bad bad. I messaged her mom politely and asked if I could take her hair down and wash it ect so she could have it prepped for a new style. She said yes and lemme say this lil girl had patches on her head, raw spots and actual holes in her scalp. I indeed reported to my boss who then called ppl. Turns out baby girl was being severely neglected and beaten by the other olders kids in the home and adults. Mom tried to fight me for her losing her but I'm not fighting over something like that 😭 You let the sweetest baby girl look and feel stuff a baby shouldn't. Despite everything she was so sweet and loved cuddles while sucking her thumb 🥺😭

A had a little girl that loved me braiding her hair and didn’t let her mom do it because she wanted me to do it so mom asked if It was ok to bring in some hair ties for her so gladly I said yes it was the highlight of my day❤️

I had a parent tell me not to touch her daughters hair. i felt so bad because the other kids would be getting their hair done after nap and she would ask me and I had to tell her no 😭
