Actually fun fact, because It’s A Small World has so many animatronics it takes too much maintenance for all of them to sync up together if they kept turning it on off at night and on in the morning so while the music is off, the animatronics just keep moving

Small world is haunted and is know for the dolls moving locations they always find dolls in the wrong area, like Alice in the Aladdin area and they always get yearly haircuts

Fun facts about several Disney rides: It’s A Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, the animatronic in Cosmic Ray’s, and (before closing for renovations) the carousel of progress were all left on overnight for several reasons. There are worries about syncing, runtime, and function for all animatronics in these rides because of the age of them (which is why carousel is being completely redone rather than reskinned like before), especially on the boat rides because of the moisture in the air

Fun Fact: i camp when i go to Knoebels and one year we decided to take a 4 AM walk to the park but the moment we got closer to the park i started picturing all the animatronics and statues just sotting in the dark and the idea scared me so bad i had to turn around before i had a panic attack

this is something I think about a lot and something that really creeps me out personally. Just thinking about the animatronics lifeless when their not supposed to be seen. seeing those exploring videos of Disney after hours is some of the most terrifying content.
