@coachvalpcrabbe: Loving yourself in a world that keeps giving you reasons not to can be one of the hardest things you will ever learn to do. The loss of Hayden Panettiere made me think about this differently. She spoke publicly about addiction, depression, painful relationships, loss, and the devastating grief of losing her younger brother. And it reminds me that sometimes what looks like “self-destruction” from the outside may be a person trying to survive pain they never learned how to carry. That’s what we don’t talk about enough. Survival mode can keep you alive while slowly teaching you to abandon yourself. You sacrifice your peace. You disconnect from your body. You tolerate what hurts you. You numb what you don’t know how to heal. And somewhere along the way, you can forget that you are someone worth protecting too. That is why Love Through Sacrifice has never only been about romantic relationships for me. Sometimes the relationship we have sacrificed the most is the relationship we have with ourselves. And healing asks a different question: Can I learn to love myself even after life taught me not to? May Hayden rest in peace. And may her story remind us to have compassion for the battles people are fighting that we cannot see. 🕊️ This is The Psychology of Survival Mode™. This is Love Through Sacrifice. And this is why choosing yourself matters. #PsychologyOfSurvivalMode #LoveThroughSacrifice #SelfLove #Grief #HealingJourney
