@missestandme: when using the concrete method please make sure to put the cab upside down and this usually takes me 3 to 5 min.

I guess if you don’t have can opener this would work. But I would be scared of metal shavings getting in it. I will just use can opener or buy the pull tab cans.

there's a third option but it really depends on how much physical strength you have you can crush the can and pop it open I've done it twice if there's any liquids in it you will be covered in them so if you're trying to get the liquids out I strongly suggest the knife option and poke two holes in it that way you can just drink from it
