I asked my therapist about this, because I heard this take more often the last months and wanted to make sure. And so basically because I said yes, it was definitely not rape and due to her reaction I assume she would have said that it wouldn't be sexual assault either (I'm not sure anymore if she said that tho). I'm so confused. I didn't wanted to sleep with him, didn't even wanted to be in a relationship with him either. All of this happened due to the fawn response, being pressured and not feeling safe to say no. It happened 11 years ago and it's still bugging me.

The amount of us who were too young to even understand what was happening to us and realized it years later… it’s a lot. I’m 30 now but I was married VERY young and with absolutely zero guidance. I was 19. He was military (typical I know) and that’s when I learned that there are people who genuinely believe marriage is a green light alone.
