The spacecraft will absolutely reach a distant star, moon or planet. It's in space floating in a vacuum, where there's no air or moisture to cause it to biodegrade. And even if there were, most of the spacecraft is made from from what are called, noble metals...which means that even if they were, air and moisture, they essentially, would never biodegrade anyway. In the vacuum of space gold, platinum, stainless steel and aluminum, as well as copper and other metals, will never biodegrade in space. This means that, no matter how far it has to go to reach a planet, a moon or a star, it will get there.
