@whosagoodlizard: Let’s free roam with Sammy! He’s been a busy guy today. 🧡 You can see that his beard is a darker orange than the rest of his body. That’s not a black beard, it’s part of his natural color gradient and usually matches his tail. His tail IS crooked in a couple of spots because this man whips it like an iguana and has injured it before. It healed beautifully with no internal damage, and yes, we’ve had him checked out, don’t you fret! The different shades on his tail are also from shedding. Adult bearded dragons can shed in patches, and the area closest to his body will likely shed next, along with his full back piece. ALSO, Samson looks different from many dragons you see online because he’s a Witblits morph. He’s pretty spectacular, ain’t he? 🧡

The little jump Sammy does going down each stair is really clever. My idiot dragon used to just clonk her head coming straight down each stair lmao

The domesticated bearded dragon’s natural habitat is stairs. Up and down all day if you’d let them.

Is the head bobbing a social thing? Like are they doing it to try to communicate to you?
