My advice…don’t buy in Montgomery county. Any house, anywhere.

I don’t care how much money you spend on the “builder” or “custom home builder” the trades have ZERO craftsmanship. And the Forman and Supervisors DGAF as long as it gets finished ahead of schedule.

This is why you make sure you get a home inspector and a realtor who work for you before you buy a new home! That electrical panel...holy cow!

I used to own a fence company in the Houston area… trust me they choose low bidder every time… I am sure that goes for the rest of the home also

Check those hinges. Our daughter’s home they used nails in the hinges. Walls keep popping the screws out of the Sheetrock even after they repaired. 🤬

Seems to me a reputable home builder would do a walk-through after each job make sure everything is good before the contractors carry off. That’s how I would run my business.

Honestly if that’s it, that’s not bad at all. Probably 3hrs of work max to fix. Framing to the room may be an issue though. You can shim it, but it’s not ideal.
