@bigsismona: you make a choice that makes total sense at the time. then it all goes to shit. and suddenly you're replaying everything. what you missed. what you should've noticed. what you should've done differently. one thing this whole experience taught me is that a bad outcome and a bad decision aren't always the same thing. sometimes, yeah, you ignored something that was already there. but sometimes you made a perfectly reasonable choice based on what you knew at the time and things still didn't work out. and for the longest time, i treated both of those the same. something went wrong, so i must've made the wrong decision. but i realized that sometimes it meant i was learning the wrong lesson from what happened. so now, when i look back, i try to separate three things: what i knew when i made the choice. what happened afterwards. what i'd actually do differently next time. because sometimes the lesson really is: i ignored something i already knew. and sometimes it's simply: i couldn't have known that yet. learning to tell those apart has changed how i look back at my own decisions. check out part 1 👉🏻@BigSisMona 💕 #tinydecisions #selftrust #decisionmaking #overthinking #personalgrowth
