We would only get a weeks notice at my sons last school and it would be “wear your favorite sport jersey” 1. Jerseys are expensive and for a kid who’s going to grow out of it in a few months 2. I live in a small town so even if I wanted to buy one I can’t get it here in time.

Imagine being the teacher on these dress-up days. Who knew a different set of clothes could turn a room into complete chaos 🥴 and don’t forget red ribbon week and the wholeeeee month of December. Oh, and Dr Seuss Week. 🤦🏻♀️

You should do an episode on the adult version of this…work pot lucks.. let’s work a 40+ hour work week and then go home and cook a dish for the pot luck when I barely got groceries for my family and barely have energy to wipe my ass but sure let’s have a potluck & cook for 20+ people I can’t stand and only tolerate because I’m paid to get along with them. NOT TO MENTION Brenda don’t wash her hands in the bathroom, smells like stale cigar and dog shit and has roaches crawling out her purse but sure let’s let her bring some food 🤨

I lost my💩 when my Kindergartener had to have a college shirt. He’s 7. He doesn’t know what college is but i have to got the Walmart at 10pm to try to find a Texas Tech shirt in a 5T.

Sitting here watching this made me sad. My boys are grown and in college now. I would give anything to go back in time to absolutely panic on evenings before a dress up day. Enjoy it while they are small. Your heart will be broken as soon as they are out of the house 💔
