116 is impossible in a 12hrs. I work urgent care, the most I saw was 65 and I didn’t even take a break or eat. Ended up finishing at 9:15. I think 116 is just insane.

for those who say it’s impossible to see that many patients in a day, I don’t blame you. we see that many. Our average is 70-100 a day especially during flu season

It’s not even possible for a single provider to see 116 patients in a 12 hour period. That’s almost 10 patients/hour. The providers I manage barely see 35 patients in a 12 hour shift.

Do not accept positions like this … say no -it is your license… And, you actually do have the right to say no!! Accepting these types of positions, ultimately degrades our entire profession. Proud of you for standing up for yourself! Say NO NP’s!! Do not take substandard wages and unreasonable assignments - your license, you are accountable….not OK.

Over 100 patients is insanity. I needed to see this. Monday I saw 57 patients , Tuesday 54 patients, and yesterday my coworker saw 72 patients . One provider, one MA, one front desk clerk as back office staff. It’s a joke for patients and staff honestly .

The most I saw was 42 in family practice and as soon as my contract was up was gone. I left the next day after my contract was up.😩 Worked sick and all.😩
