What you’re seeing is the veneration of St. Agatha’s relic ! not the worship of a skull or the belief that it is a god. Scripture itself shows that God worked through physical objects connected to holy people: a man revived after touching Elisha’s bones (2 Kings 13:20–21), and people were healed through cloths that had touched St. Paul (Acts 19:11–12). Relics aren’t magical and saints aren’t gods; we honor what God accomplished through His faithful servants, just as people honor a loved one’s grave or treasured belongings.

As a Roman Catholic, I don't think this is appropriate, there's no need of doing all of this,.. just honoring her by statue is enough but skull noo

Dr. Wawire Koinange :
The Viral Saint Agatha Skull Video: What Really Happened in Catania? By Koinange Wawire The trending viral video from Catania, Sicily, is being widely misunderstood. What appears at first glance to be a strange ceremony involving a human skull is, in fact, an ancient Catholic tradition involving the relics of Saint Agatha, a 3rd-century Christian martyr. During celebrations marking the 900th anniversary of the return of Saint Agatha’s relics from Constantinople in 1126, the skull of the saint was publicly presented to the faithful and then reverently placed inside her ornate silver and gold reliquary bust. Much of the confusion comes from clips stripped of their religious and historical context. Some social-media posts have described the ceremony as idolatry, occultism, or the placing of human remains inside a statue of the Virgin Mary. That interpretation is incorrect. The bust represents Saint Agatha herself, and the relic is placed within it as part of a centuries-old devotional tradition. Catholics make an important distinction between veneration and worship. Dulia refers to the honour given to saints, while latria, worship and supreme adoration is reserved for God alone. The relic is therefore not worshipped as a god; it is honoured because of its connection to a Christian who lived and died for her faith. The practice also has biblical precedents. In Acts 19:11–12, extraordinary healings are described through handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched Saint Paul. Catholic tradition similarly sees relics as tangible reminders of the faith and witness of the saints. So, while the sight of a skull being publicly displayed and placed inside a reliquary may look unusual to someone unfamiliar with Catholic tradition, there is a long historical and theological context behind what happened in Catania. The viral video makes much more sense when viewed through that context rather than through sensational social-media captions.

This is a clear sign that traditions and customs are something that should always be done and if you look at it, it is a sign of a father who has given the skull of a person who died years ago to show it to the community and encourage many and believe that this person who had gone before the truth was a good person. It is like the Chaga people used to do in the past when they buried people. After several years, they dig them up and then take out their skull and palms and put them in the leaves of the remains. If I am wrong, maybe I can be guided properly and I can know what it symbolizes.
