These takes are absolutely compatible with each other, it just means honk at a reasonable time. Take 1 is late/nonexistent honks are bad, take 2 is early honks are bad, that still leaves room for appropriate honks.

I want a few seconds after green for a reason 🙄 I’m not about to be stuck in the hospital dead or injured badly and eitphit a car because people behind me want to rush me to go too soon. Too many people run red lights speeding to do that 🙄 my life and car is more important I want a de second afterwards while slowly pulling up for a reason.

If I don't see your brake lights turn off within two seconds, my hand will be ready to honk within the next second. I understand waiting 2 or 3 seconds, but if your brake lights are on, I assume you aren't paying attention.
