Your brain constantly creates maps of your body and the space surrounding you. A tennis racket can begin to feel like an extension of your arm. A musician can experience an instrument as almost part of their own movement. A surgeon can experience their tools as extensions of their body. The boundary isn’t always as solid as we imagine. 🌀 And ancient spiritual teachings have been pointing toward this idea for thousands of years: The separation is the illusion. Not that the physical world doesn’t exist… but that we experience ourselves as completely isolated from it. You are breathing the same atmosphere that surrounds you. Your body is made from the same elements found throughout the Earth. Your senses are constantly exchanging information with the environment. You aren’t experiencing reality from somewhere completely outside of it. You are participating in the experience of it. 🌌 And here’s where the deeper Matrix symbolism comes in… What if the real prison isn’t the physical world? What if it’s the belief that there is a rigid wall between you and everything else? Between consciousness and creation. Between observer and observed.
