Our family went Sunday without knowing much about the facility. It was so run down and smelly. There were stairs that led up to the platform at the stingray tank, not blocked off. Any kid could’ve ran off, walked up the stairs, and jumped in the tank?????? Not to mention that we had an all access band and 70% of everything was closed or that every activity required ‘credits’ that they don’t mention online. I know better now and will choose ethical zoos from now on 🙃

as a reminder for everybody, when this place started to open, they also had violations and actually were sued by the Houston Zoo for trying to impersonate them.

I used to work here and it was just a lot of young people, there was a time where we had the “power puff girls” miniature pigs and one died not sure why, I did not feel safe to bring people in w the alpacas bc sometimes they would get aggressive, the bunnies would get mistreated by kids, Ived got bit by some of the baby lemurs, did not take me to the doctor, just told me the lemurs are clean and vaccinated that I will be fine. I’m aware of animal bites here, I work in the vet field and I have gotten bit before and I still get taken to the doctor to get at least antibiotics. I just got asked questions of what happened. The baby lemurs were very food aggressive. once they put me to do the horse interaction, I was not able to handle the horse I had no training I did not feel comfortable putting a kid on the horse.

Me n my friends went last week. The poor stingrays aren’t fed correctly by people and the staff does not teach people how to properly feed them. Also food place smelled so funky

When I went the animal weren’t even inteacting the porcupine was attacking one of the workers when she was doing her interaction with it, everything was so off .

My daughters class went here for a field trip 3 years ago. I knew it was sus when the giraffe was able to reach over the enclosure. They had teenagers there as “animal handlers”…

Went once. The experience was bad. Was dirty. Wasn’t much enrichment for animals and staff was rude.
