one time the ppl in line asked if we could speed it along and I ignored them, a man said she probably doesn’t speak Icelandic (our native language) and I told him in a firm voice that that sometimes we need to be patient when there are old people paying. and he was really embarrassed so yeah.

I had a 20 person line and the lady at the front was buying her lotto tickets individually. She spent $80 in a series of $5 transaction that she refused to group into one. The Lotto is under the counter so I had to crouch down and stand up every. Single. Time.
