I’m going for the debt that will give us the most money back per month! And it’s our smallest so I guess starting with snowball but not sure I will keep up with it

I think I would pay off any small credit cards like $500 and under, and then go toward tackling the highest interest rate debt.

I used the snowball method. Having some quicker payoffs were a great motivator. Also, once I paid off a card I cut it up. I now have only two cards.

I started the snowball method. I feel like seeing a card being paid off faster is more motivating for me. I’ll finish paying off my lowest CC next month and will continue with the snowball method with my next lowest CC

Things about both that make sense. Like paying off your current student loan 13-I think, made sense bc its interest was so high. But I kept staring at 11 thinking, pay it off-the smallest-it will bring a win which is needed.

My Debt Payoff Journey :
I’ve been doing a mix. My first 2 debts I paid off were smaller balances but then I switch over to the loan I am currently working on as I wanted to free up that payment so I could use it towards my other debts. This loan will be paid within the next week💕💕

I am getting ready to start a journey and I am definitely choosing the Avalanche method. It will work the best for our situation.

I would probably work on the highest balance so it gets under 30% .

I used a combination of the methods when I became debt free. The number of debts bogged me down personally. Reducing the number of debts made the payment more significant when I tackled the big one. My question to you? The current student loan you are currently working was it only interest rate that made you pick it?
