the easiest way? add a specific report function for teaming that sends the report to Good Gamers specifically. once you confirm they are teaming, you can ban them from the game mode, hopefully. OR even make a list of teamers to publicly shame them

make a report a teamer in discord and have ppl drop usernames with proof and make a syatem so if youre a teamer cant get gun or sword for a certain length of time

Proximity/AFK timers are too easy to cheese, especially if Sheriff + Murderer are in a party. Make the Sheriff accountable to the Murderer’s kills every kill creates an investigation/evidence objective. After X successful investigations, the Murderer is automatically revealed to the Sheriff, forcing them to act. If the Sheriff deliberately ignores a revealed Murderer, they get penalized, and after a short window the gun transfers to another player. This makes “go hide while I kill” impossible to abuse without punishing legit Sheriffs.
