wait, why was there a supreme court case saying we have the right (not privilage) to travel, by foot horseback or motor coach. supremacy clause says states do not have the right to make this a privilege

Please add in “lawful” stop. Watched a video the other day where a cop pulled over someone for flipping him the bird, he said that’s why he pulled them over. That person does not have to show that officer his ID. totally agree with everything else you said I love good officers.

You are taking a very nuanced issue of identifying passengers and reducing it down to a simple yes or no. There are plenty of reasons and scenarios where a passenger would be required to ID.

Correct up to the passengers part, if the passenger or passengers have committed a violation such as failure to wear their seatbelts or littering those who have committed that violation must identify.
