I served from 2006-2016, and the same situation happened when we were in the golf in 2010-2011. The ship doesn't supply hygiene products, and four meals daily may not be ideal, but it sufficed. Calling your mom to go to the media is humiliating for the crew and could harm careers and awards afterward.

All the ships that were sent out to the Middle East are essentially just abandoned out there. My service member on a different ship is having the exact same issues. Nobody is out there helping them get restocked or get what they need.
