Pouring gasoline down my yard holes and lighting it, solved my wasp issue. Be careful on the amount.

Use SEVIN dust down the holes at night (after dark). It's available at just about any home improvement store. Kills them in about 1 day. After that try and keep the ground wet so it's soft dirt. They like dry soil so they can dig their holes.

I had this problem and someone told me to squirt dish soap in the opening and then blast the hole with a hose. It fills the entire hole, no matter how far it goes down with sudsy bubbles which kills them. We repeated 2 days later to get any stragglers that had not been in the hole for application #1. Haven’t had a problem since. Try this!
