This may be a stupid question to ask as I don’t have kids and don’t know if I want kids in the future. But would a breast or chest feeding person be able to use a lactation consultant if they wanted to exclusively pump and bottle feed? Or is it only for folks who feed directly from their breast/chest?

Hey Kaylee! I’m just a little confused because the IBCLC’s I work with on postpartum unit preach about nipple confusion. Especially when it comes to the first two weeks with breastfeeding. Like they preach about no bottles/no pacifiers for that time period.. If you could maybe educate a little bit more for me ?
