19 years visiting Aruba and I've learned a lot. I do an Abnb now. I was there in July and the Abnb was $1300 for the week. the hotels have become very expensive

Jeez people just get an Airbnb. My place is $150/night in the off season and it’s a 2 minute walk to Eagle beach. We have 2 pools, grills, gym and an office. My car guy is $40/day all in. It would have cost you around $1k.

Taxis were crazy expensive!! Get a bus pass daily passes are 15 per person of 5$ round trip one trip . Def cheaper than taking a taxi!

I just went a couple of weeks ago and $5400 for two everything was included and that was 5 days 4 nights at Rui and I thought that was expensive I guess I got a good deal

We go to Aruba every year. Your trip is insanely expensive! 😳 We are going next year for 3 weeks. Hotel is $3000 for 3 weeks. Don’t rent a car. Take the bus. It’s only $2.60 pp. get a room with a kitchen. Go grocery shopping at Super Food. Eat breakfast and lunch in your room. We spend about $400 for 3 weeks for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Aruba can be super affordable!

I do Jetblue vacations, hotel and airfare $2200, we do not do all inclusive. too many great places to eat, the bus is $2.60 pp. we go to the palm beach area each night we stay in the low-rise area. food might cost us $700 for the week.

I’m staying at an all inclusive. I was worried that I should’ve did something different because I saw everyone getting an air bnb. I had to be real with myself and came to the conclusion I just wanted to get up and exist. I didn’t want to have to cook. I didn’t want to have to drive. I didn’t want to have to do anything but get in an elevator so all inclusive was the best for me. Also, looking at your price breakdown lets me know it’s around the same price.

Def don't rent a car in Aruba. Mostly everything is walkable and if not take a taxi.

A big cost saver is buy alcohol at the duty free when you get there buy some mixers and make your own drinks when you are on the beach all day

I was in aruba the same time as you?!?!?! the QUEEN?!?!?!?!! we were at divi tho. no car so did need taxi :/ but all inclusive and was 4500

Honestly I feel like Aruba is very overrated and very expensive. Just went a few months back and we liked it but didn’t love it. I thought the interior of the island was really ugly actually. The coast was nice and the beaches were pretty but it was sooooo windy, it was hard to enjoy. Definitely prefer St John and St Thomas or even the DR. The one great thing is that Aruba felt incredibly safe and the people are all super friendly. If we go again, we’ll definitely do an AirBnB
