People don’t understand the power of the unearned party endorsement. I got my boomerdad on the Fishback bandwagon but even my boomermom took a lot of pride in saying “voting is personal and private” while mindlessly voting for the party endorsed candidate. She couldn’t even name another candidate, couldn’t name one policy or slogan from byrone’s campaign. There’s like a million of those retirement age boomers here.
