I’m autistic myself but clearly verbal I have weeks like this even months can’t explain it just how we sometimes feel on the inside could be feeling lost, all alone, outside of everything the emotions are endless we can also pick up other people’s emotions which impacts even more I can’t explain it or why. Clearly we are here some of us talk some of us don’t but doesn’t mean we don’t have inner talks to ourselves when we can’t quite communicate what exactly we feel and why. Sometimes it’s a bit pushy been in front of our faces it’s overwhelming and intense and intimidating, I read from his facial expressions and actions he clearly needed a massive hug indicating he could be upset about something or just feeling blue in general can’t push us to talk if we don’t want to best way for some of us is a distraction try to find something he really likes to do on a day like this just to ease his burden with his own head it’s hard really hard knowing you are quite clearly there but not there how you should be or in tune with your mind and body and it affects how we eat too it’s weird I know but try distracting him with something that makes him smile instead of sliding down in to the depression. Hope it helps maybe a little we all different like but it’s just giving you it from another perspective so you can figure him out.

Has he been to the dentist? Tooth pain can be hard to explain and hard to see on the outside. It can cause so much other symptoms along with it.

Try not recording him for a few months. He keeps looking at the camera. He is obviously in a very vulnerable state and he's aware you're broadcasting it everywhere. Being perceived can be a big trigger for autistic people... Just give it a go for a few months.
