I’m a teacher and had conferences the night of my babies eye exam. My husband encouraged me to go and see the parents they were all so worried about me and the baby. He said it was the most awful thing he’s witnessed. The eye doctor ended up having a long talk with him and he’s still our eye doctor today! He predicted she would need glasses by 1st grade sure enough she’s getting glasses soon. I still feel guilty I wasn’t there.
