Why doesn't Sephora simplify this BS and just have three 20% off sales yearly. Ulta and most brand sites offer 20% or more often There is no reason why Sephora can't.

The only reason people haven’t completely switched to ulta is because sephora has a lot of popular mid range to luxury brands plus I believe they have more brands in general. Ulta has a lot of rewards for both diamond and platinum while for sephora vib almost always is lumped in with insider. Ulta gives way more 20% off coupons for any tier while sephora makes you spend $1000 a year. Not mention it’s so much easier to rack up point in ulta if you time your purchases right. Hell half the brands themselves have better email sign up promotions the only thing sephora has over them is free shipping on any amount

Most of their sales/app fest/whatever they decide to call it each time are feeble attempts at trying to keep up with Ulta…that’s what I feel anyhow! 😂 One good thing about the mystery tasks, is that if one item happens to fall in multiple categories, it stacks…so you can end up getting all the points for 1 item. For example, let’s say the 4 tasks are a hair care product, a perfume/body mist, using your Sephora card, picking up in store…if you buy a body mist that is also considered a “hair” mist + you pay with your Sephora card + you pick up in store, you get all 500 points for that one item because it would cover all four categories + the extra hundred points for completing them all. It definitely depends what the categories are of course, but it does work out sometimes ☺️

all the rewards challenges are so crazy now because there’s a men’s spin for everything it used to just be by a hair product now it’s buy a hair product but it has to be $40. so you end up needing to spend over $100 to get 500 points crazy.

Disappointed in what's offered this year for sure BUT you can get the 3 free items more then once, which normally you can only use the promo code once. So I did 2 orders and was able to get 5 items
