@theadventurerguy: Backpacking + chimichurri steak in the Sierra Nevada ⛺️🥩🍷 I was here 2 years ago and I’ve been thinking about coming back and filming a full video ever since. After a few trips with friends, I finally found the perfect window and got a last minute permit. This is by far one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever been! I started at Sabrina Basin, where I hiked through Blue Lake, Dingleberry Lake, Sailor Lake and finally Hungry Packer Lake. I stopped at Moonlight Falls for a quick swim along the way. Once I arrived at Hungry Packer Lake, it was actually pretty crowded, but I was able to find an amazing spot with views of the lake and Picture Peak. I set up camp and relaxed for a bit before cooking one of my favorite meals: a beef rib steak from @mahoganysmokedmeats with fresh chimichurri, potatoes and cherry tomatoes. And of course, thanks to @catenazapata, I had a Catena Zapata Malbec which was the perfect combination 🍷 I relaxed, watched the sunset and stargazed for a bit before going to bed. The night sky was absolutely insane! I woke up the next morning after 8 hours of sleep and made a delicious breakfast: coffee and blueberry pancakes. I did forget the honey though 😂 I enjoyed the morning swimming in the lake and laying in the sun for a while before packing up my stuff and making my way back to the truck. Such an amazing trip! I had so much fun filming this one and also got to enjoy this incredible location, which without a doubt I’ll be coming back to again!
