@ms.lin: Over the past few weeks, Indiana has experienced multiple severe storms, and on August 11th, our community was hit by a devastating storm/tornado that caused major damage across the area. Many families are STILL going on 7 days without power, and we are doing everything we can to get through this difficult situation. Because of the ongoing power outage, I have been out of work for an entire week. We also lost all of the food in our 2 deep freezers and 2 refrigerators, which has been a huge unexpected expense. On top of that, we’ve had to constantly purchase gas to get around and buy food because we’re unable to properly cook or store groceries. These are expenses that many of us simply weren’t prepared for. People in our community are struggling and could really use some assistance right now. I’m not asking for much—anything helps, whether it’s a donation, sharing this post, or simply keeping families affected by these storms in your thoughts.
