Once they start adding more items AFTER I’ve accepted the order … I just say out of stock or it’s so irritating when the item is out of stock & I try to update them w a CALL & TEXT & NO reply … then I selected an item for their suggested “Substitutions” then when I’m at CHECKOUT & they don’t want it & want U to get something else for mutiple items so U r shopping around the store again for out of stock items & they keep adding , NO sjr !! Plus MOST of the low mileage, high paying r FROM UBER … it’s almost ALWAYS UBER FARE cuz Uber had to ADD to order for someone to accept it !!! U have the NERVE to do ALL this, change order multiple times, add more to order & REQUIRE meet at door & U live on the 3rd floor … LOOK me in the eyes & I’m still respectful & courteous KNOWING U didn’t TIP a DIME !! Like wtf … the AUDACITY!! Then I realize the good paying order wasn’t w decent TIP , these broke azz rude customers didn’t give ANYTHING.. it was UBER adding $$ to get driver to accept. Smh

Uber Eats always try’s to get to add things after I placed the order by giving special offers either from the same place or other locations nearby. I’ve never done it cause I feel like it would be annoying to do.

Had a 24 item (40) units order for $41.00 13 miles. I said not bad. It will be quick mostly drinks and produce. As I'm doing th order the customer keeps adding items. 1 2 3 im like ok not a problem. I was almost done with the order when they basically added another 30 items turned into like 60 items and 80 units. I called uber and told them nah. I agreed to a certain amount for this order and the customer basically added a another whole full order for the same price. cancelled it so quick.

We should absolutely be allowed to rate the people we deliver to just as they have the ability to rate us which penalizes us and the orders that we get. There are a lot of people that appreciate the work that we do, but there are also those who take advantage and feel entitled. And the people that are rude, disrespectful, and especially the people that don’t tip should not have the ability to order from the system. But we both know that’s never going to happen because that does not matter to these delivery companies. All they care about are the billions of dollars that they make and the pennies that they pass on to the people that do the real work.

It's nice to hear a young person such as yourself talk about the virtues of manners and common courtesy. Yeah, tipping is nice, but showing appreciation makes the work much better. I wish more people understood this, but it seems to be getting worse. Just remember to keep your head up, and don't let them get you down. You'll go far in this life with your postive attitude. Just started trying Uber Eats, when I go to deliver sometimes the app doesn’t let me take a pic is that normal? Or it’s a leave at door and customer comes out and grabs direct. So I add note. But just feels glitchy on app does this happen to you?
