I understand your pain 100% my girl Kiiit passed April 13th 2025 and I miss her every day the day I found this pic (originally a video I screenshotted it like 30 times) I cried cuz I actually forgot how she used to look at me everyone says grief is like glitter but to me it's like cat hair still there even when they are not even a year later I still find kiiits hair around my room it settles and hides in corners and nooks it's easily brushed up with a little bit of wind and never truly goes away just blends in with the rest of the world sometimes you see it and you're sad other times you remember all the good memories and smile. having pets is inviting heartbreak into your home into your heart and soul though every pet owner I know would never trade it for the world cuz those years of happiness and love and fluffy cuddles makes a lifetime of grief and heartbreak worth it if only a little. I hope you know your baby loved you with all she was and is looking out for you and goobs. she was loved and she knew that, you did a great job and I know she's proud of you for continuing on without her no matter how hard it is. (also never let anyone tell you how to grieve it's not "just a cat" it's a family member and grief has no time limit)
