The trick is to stop asking, “Which one is better?” and start asking, “What does my skin need this step to do?” Do I need lightweight hydration? A targeted treatment? Something richer to seal everything in? Or a first cleanse that removes sunscreen without leaving my skin feeling stripped? Once you start shopping by function instead of the prettiest label or trendiest category, your routine gets easier to build and much harder to overcomplicate.
