My kid lost his tooth at school and then lost it. He was 5. When the tooth fairy went to leave him $$, she found a note my son had scribbled on a bumper sticker he found in his room that said "I lost my tooth, then I lost my tooth, I'm sorry". It is 1 of my favorite things of his.

As a former kid, kids are super gullible, my mom once forgot to put money under my pillow when I lost a tooth, she told me to just leave it there, maybe the tooth fairy was really busy that night, so I did and got a note where the tooth fairy apologized and said that she had a busy night with some extra money and absolutely believed that the tooth fairy was just super busy that night😂

The tooth fairy accepts notes in the event of a lost lost tooth 🦷 how do I know this? Because I lost a tooth & wrote a letter to her explaining what happened and put it under my pillow. I had 💴 under it the next day, so it totally worked 😉

I kept one of my kid's teeth for just this situation. and it comes in handy. my youngest lost his first tooth and it fell down the sink drain with the water running. He was in tears. I told him to go cuddle with daddy and I would get a wrench to get the tooth from the pipe. Got his brother's tooth and a wrench hit it on the pipe for a little then came out with the tooth. He was so happy I found his tooth.

The first tooth my daughter lost, she literally lost it and was in hysterics while we searched everywhere for it. Did her dad and I put a tiny pebble in an envelope and tell her we “found it”? Obviously we did. Then she swallowed the second tooth she lost and she knew she did. Hysterics again. I cut to the chase and gave her $20 and told her the tooth fairy had already given it to me in case she was busy when the tooth came out. We all do what we’ve got to do. 😂

I swallowed a tooth when I was young & my 8yr old swallowed 1 last month. 🤷🏻♀️Tooth fairies just know, they get a notification so the real tooth is not necessary to receive your pay. You don't need the part to get your "core charge back" 🤣

The tooth fairy just knows as soon as you lose the teeth guys! The magic tells her when it’s falling out so she can schedule her visits accordingly. She just takes the tooth to have it inspected for signs you’re not brushing properly, but you don’t HAVE to give it to her. My son had to learn this when he brought home someone ELSES tooth for the tooth fairy - and then became strangely attached to one he lost and didn’t want to give it up.
