As a contractor myself Iโd of laughed and said absolutely not! Now if it was very noticeable screw ups, yes weโd fix it but this is 100% ridiculous and this is how you get charged for every little tiny thing I do from now on. Pick your battles ๐ซค

I mean if Iโm paying with my hard earned money (my literal time of my life really) and I have to live with it for potentially the rest of my life Iโd want it done as closely to what Iโd want as possible and if itโs a matter of saying โhey itโs thisโ then so be it. At worst they talk with me about my expectations. Idk whatโs realistic and what isnโt with these sorts of things.

Literally a nightmare customer. I've had a few like this and its absolutely miserable. You want to be picky like THIS, do it yourself. 99% of the time you can take that tape off and not fix anything and they'll never find the "fix" again, because there was never there to begin with.
