My mom would do this for me while I was at school and I would come home and be so grateful 🥹 it never occurred to me to ask what she threw away or donated. She would also add a gift like one time it was a stereo of my own. Once it was a skateboard. Good memories. I’m 66 now and keep a clean home too. I miss my mom. 💕🍀💕🍀💕🍀💕

a second rund of Keeper after categorizing is so smart. because then you realize "oh i still have 30 sweaters" or whatever and its easier to get rid of things 👌

last summer, my 12 yo daughter and I decorated her closet. there were a lot of tears because she was overwhelmed. we took 2 days but it was worth it and now she keeps it clean. she's very glad we did it even though it was a lot

I wished someone actually taught me how to clean properly. Like I can deep clean but with ADHD it’s incredibly hard for me to power through, find a proper home for all my stuff, and just to clean productively and not just move stuff around circles in my room💔

11/12 tweens is a really funny age. Girls want to start doing the teen make up and fashion stuff but still want toys and play things so it’s a lot of items for a couple of years as they transition out of of ‘little girl’ to teen.
