@brookeewilsonnnn: DAY 14 & 15 TRIAL RECAP The prosecution has officially rested, and the focus of the Lindsay Clancy trial is shifting. Over the last two days, we heard testimony that continued to paint a picture of Lindsay’s mental state in the days leading up to the killings. One of the biggest themes emerging from the defense is that this case may not be about Patrick at all. A lot of people expected the defense to center its case around Patrick Clancy. Instead, Reddington has been focusing heavily on Lindsay’s state of mind including asking her family directly whether she had ever expressed thoughts about harming her children. Now that the Commonwealth has rested, we’re finally getting a clearer idea of where both sides are going with this case. And honestly, I think the defense strategy is becoming much more apparent. I’ll be breaking down what we heard on Days 14 & 15 and what to expect as the defense begins its case. What do you think so far? has your opinion of the case changed since the prosecution rested? #LindsayClancy #LindsayClancyTrial #TrueCrimeTok #TrueCrime #TrialTok

Could Patrick be criminally responsible because he knew Lindsay’s mental state and he shouldn’t have left the kids alone with her??

Genuine question, because I just want to understand better. Hypothetically speaking, when this trial ends, could Patrick have charges pressed on him and tried?

It was obvious to me that Patrick & his new wife planned the entire horrible crime.

i think closing arugument will be along the lines of the judge told you to consider EVIDENCE. we have a timeline that doesnt make sense an zero evidence pointing to Ms Clancy having done the actual acts. No witness, inoperable cameras in her home, blood spatter inconsistent with testimony regarding the crime scene, and conflicting reports of her physical and mental health. The CW has not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it was Lindsey's actions that resulted in the death of her children any more than her doctors or any other person. infact the only evidence the cw has tried to use to support their case is a watch that has data also not matching the alleged timeline and also not matching the facts we are certain of for example that her watch was reporting movement while she was in a coma much like it reported stairs while she was unconscious outside.

When I was in psychosis I was desperate for help. I was on Zoloft, hydroxizine, Ativan, and ambien. I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, couldn't breathe I wasn't real. I saw cartoon figures around me. Looking back I'm not sure how I took so much medicine at once and I'm also not sure how I survived it all. But so thankful I did.

The fact that they had 71 witnesses and all they got from anyone was frustrated 😂. Because they surely haven’t made their case.

Wrong! They have to determine first if she ever committed the crimes, then if they determine she did, then they have to determine whether she was of sound mind or not.

I don't no how they can convict her when we're not even sure she murdered the kids at this point

The system is fragmented and clinicians don’t communicate effectively. I work in mental health and I can’t tell you how hard it is for me to get information from other resources even with consent.

I am finally seeing the expert witnesses actually describing what it’s like to have psychosis. I have seen many, many comments about her doing it, therefore JAIL. Ok… I know how people can get there but honestly I just keep going back to a conversation with my Mum, 32 years mental health nurse and she said ‘it happens more than you think’ and ‘they can’t be held accountable because they were so sick when they did it’ speaking of patients from her career who HAVE killed their children and who are NO LONGER in prison.

see, here in the UK we only have 1 allocated psyc/mental health doctor, we cant just dip and dive to different people. because the communication between them all is a struggle.
