I waited like 10 mins for them to unlock the freezer so I could buy ice cream and then got home and realized it was expired -_- Safeway is awful and uses predatory “dynamic pricing” too. I hate being treated like a criminal while grocery shopping in my own neighborhood, and feeling like I have to drive to Proctor or UP just to have a pleasant experience :(

It has been like this for at least a year and hasn’t made any sense. They don’t have enough employees to justify waiting around for someone to show up and open one of them.

They do that at the University District store as well as Rainier in South Seattle. However in Bellevue they are not locked
