Today was one of those ordinary days that quietly reminded me how extraordinary kindness can be. ❤️ Mum had to go to pathology for a blood test, and from the moment we walked through the door, Lauren and all the beautiful girls welcomed her with such warmth, patience, and genuine care. They didn’t just see another patient they saw Mum. They spoke to her, smiled with her, and made her feel safe. For someone living with dementia, those little acts of kindness mean everything. I was so proud of her today. She was incredibly brave while having her blood taken. Watching her trust the staff and face something that can be frightening with such courage filled my heart with pride. To Lauren and the entire team—thank you for treating Mum with such dignity, compassion, and love. Hanno trattato la mamma con tanto rispetto e dolcezza, facendola sentire al sicuro e serena. Ero così orgogliosa di lei. È stata davvero coraggiosa durante il prelievo, e vedere tutta questa umanità mi ha ricordato quanto un gesto di gentilezza possa significare per una persona che vive con la demenza.
