A few years ago, his ex-wife made some pretty bad allegations against him. Anything disney does to recognize him will probably put all of that back in the news. and i'm sure disney doesn't want their name associated with it. I'm just guessing , but I think that might be why?

I agree with you on Dwayne. Sure he did The Game Plan and then small cameos in some DC shows and then Moana but his impact I would argue isn’t as much of an impact in comparison to Anne Hathaway and The Jonas Brothers. Dwayne didn’t get his start and massive rise in fame because of Disney. He’s synonymous with Disney now in this phase of his career but not synonymous with Disney for the longevity of his career. After the success of HSM, the Camp Rock franchise came out and the Jonas Brothers were already really popular because of their music that was released with Disney’s record label getting lots of visibility because DC would play music videos instead of ads
