When I was 16 my first job was at a gas station in the kitchen I wore shorts n a bumble bee t shirt and they asked if I had experience I hesitated they told me to just say no and so I did still got hired 😭

It does make sense. Not a mismatched off brand outfit but a cool nike set or something that is directly related to your area of expertise would be good if its not revealing. Long pants and a long sleeve would be good

I had to call out a colleague for not being interested in a candidate because the clothes they wore looked ill fitting and ragged. Had to remind him that people look for work to get money. And money is needed to buy nice clothes. That employee ended up being one of the best hires.
