By the point of all of these shows, she was too well known and typecast thanks to HSM to really carry a show. PLL’s casting worked because a lot of the actresses were lesser known other than smaller roles as guest stars or for direct to tv/dvd movies. Nina was also lesser known unless you were a Degrassi fan. Tisdale would have taken too much attention away from the rest of the cast at that point and she’s not super believable in most serious roles she plays.
